Nobody is going to hand you your authority. You have to claim it.

And the data backs this up. For every 100 men promoted to manager, only 81 women are. For women of color that number drops to 54. Research shows that executive presence accounts for 26% of promotion readiness and that means how you show up, how you are perceived, and whether the room trusts and follows your lead matters just as much as your performance.

Most women were never taught how to build that. I created The Authority Method specifically for this, to give women a framework to communicate with confidence, strengthen their presence, and build authority that people trust and follow.

You will leave with a method. You will learn the language and communication nuances that people actually respond to. And you will know what it takes to be the woman the room says, we need her here.

Friday, May 1 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT Investment: $149 Live, Interactive Professional Development Workshop

A replay and supporting materials go to every registered participant. Many women use professional development funds to cover the cost, a PD approval template is available on request.

This is your last chance to register. If you`ve been considering it, now is the time.

There are some things women don`t talk about enough.

Like how uncomfortable it is to receive. To let someone else contribute, carry something, or show up for you. For a long time I was the one who organized, gave, held space, and showed up for everyone else.

Receiving felt vulnerable. And honestly, I didn`t want to owe anybody anything.

Or how hard it is to let go. I used to believe in forever. Forever friendships. Forever jobs. Forever feelings.

I held on tight because letting go felt like abandonment.

What I know now is that learning to receive is part of leadership. And life moves in seasons — some
things are meant for a chapter, not a lifetime.

Both of those beliefs are stories. And the work is learning to recognize them as stories so you can write different ones.

SheFirst was created for exactly this. The hard but true conversations that actualy move women forward.

The Authority Method is this Friday, May 1. If you`ve been on the fence, this is your moment. Link in the

Someone asked me recently what I want the next 20 years of my life to look like.

And I realized that in 20 years I will be 71. My husband will be almost 80. And the question underneath the question is not about what I want to accomplish. It is about what I want to leave behind.

Legacy is not just financial. It is the thoughts you carry, the narratives you pass down, the operating system your children inherit from you without either of you knowing it. Research suggests our family patterns travel seven generations. The ideas you have about whether you are enough came from way, way back.

My family escaped communism under the cover of night in Hungary. Four children, waist-deep snow, the Russians behind them. My grandfather told them to step only in his footprints in case there were bombs.

That story gave me courage. But the same legacy also gave me a rule that questions were dangerous, that intelligence mattered more than creativity, and that you sacrifice yourself for family without limit. I had to find those patterns, understand where they came from, and build an upgrade.

That is the work. And it is available to all of us.

If the idea of examining what you inherited and deciding what gets passed forward resonates with you, this month`s SheFirst newsletter goes deep on exactly that.
