Last week, I had the honor of delivering my Lead Like a Woman keynote at Cal State Fullerton’s LeadHERship event.

We went deep into the unspoken rules women are handed:
Be collaborative, but not too direct.
Be confident, but not “too much.”
Work harder, and wait to be noticed.

The room was filled with future leaders, and here’s what struck me most: every single woman nodded when we named the double standards. But more importantly? They left with strategies to rewrite the rules on their terms.

That’s what this work is about. Not “fixing” women but equipping them to lead boldly in systems that weren’t built for them.

My heart is full from the conversations that followed, and I’m excited for the next stages, campuses, and organizations where this message needs to be heard.
