This is why the work matters.

When someone walks away from a session and starts implementing immediately, taking up space, speaking with authority, identifying what makes them feel powerful, that is the shift I am here for.

Jori reached out after a conference session. She said lightbulbs went off and doors opened. She was going into her next meeting ready to take up her space, listen attentively, and speak from her intuition.

That is leadership calibration in action!

If you want that kind of shift in your organization, I would love to bring this work to your next event. Link in the comments.

"I have begun implementing the changes you noted about taking up space, leaning in, and speaking with more authority. You said many things that made lightbulbs go off and doors open for me." — Jori P.

Leadership is not about having the best answers. It is about asking the questions that move the room.

Try it once this week, then notice what shifts.

If you want to go deeper on how you are showing up in the room, The Authority Method on May 5 is where we build this skill. A framework for women leaders to communicate with confidence, strengthen their presence, and build authority that people trust and follow.

When my dad had heart surgery, I was 300 miles away. And instead of sitting with the fear and the love and the helplessness that was actually true, my mind redesigned the surgical procedure. I had theories. Opinions. I am not a cardiologist.

That is the other kind of thinking.

High achievers know this pattern well. The smarter you are, the more convincing your loops sound. We dress them up in analysis, in strategy, in concern for the people we love. They feel productive. They feel responsible. They are still loops.

Your mind can build companies, birth ideas, and hold the people you love with extraordinary care. It can also spend forty minutes on monsoon hair.
The question is not whether your mind is capable. It is whether you are deciding where it goes.

This month in ACT On It I share the Thought Audit, a simple practice for telling the difference between thinking that is creating something and thinking that is just running. If this resonates, the link to the full article is in the comments.
