I know, you’ve heard that before. It’s nothing new. We know, somewhere deep inside, that the thoughts we think ultimately have power over our happiness, our productivity, and our quality of life.

Trauma, coping mechanisms, experience, disappointments—they all work together to form the thoughts that shape who we are. There are thoughts and ways of thinking that we’ve latched onto that no longer serve us. Getting rid of them, however, can we more complicated than we are prepared for.

Uncovering the thoughts that hold us back and keep us from succeeding is a vital part of our healing journey toward success and fulfillment. We cannot keep moving forward with those redundant, self-sabotaging, cyclical thoughts. They’re the ball-and-chain we’re trying to drag over mountains. It’s not going to work. We’ll exhaust ourselves and never reach our full potential.

Thankfully, with a little bit of dedication and the right resources, we can begin to rewire our thinking to be productive and encouraging.
