National Women’s Day 2018 – I’m Done Waiting

Female boss shows presentation on screen at business meetingYou’re strong, capable, and full of brilliant ideas—you and I both know that. But it can be difficult to know how to make the most of your brilliance at work, especially when the workplace is struggling to create an environment conducive to equality.

While 52% of professional jobs are held by women, only “14.6 percent of executive officers, 8.1 percent of top earners, and 4.6 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs are women. At this rate, it’s estimated that women won’t achieve leadership parity until 2085.” (Forbes)

2085?! I’m certainly not willing to wait that long, and I’m certain you aren’t either. That’s why I put together all the steps you need for success in one easy-to-use (and FREE) worksheet. In it you’ll find great data on women in the workplace, ways to identify the obstacles keeping you down, and tips to move onward and upward until you shatter that glass ceiling!

This worksheet isn’t just for women! For every man who wants to support the women around him and be part of the equality solution, this is for you! This worksheet can also help you understand how to effectively mentor the women in your employ in a way that encourages them to use their instincts and lead well.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, I am so excited to be speaking at Oxnard College on March 8th on the topic of creating both equal and successful workplaces. Every opportunity to promote women in the workplace is a joy for me.
