There are countless gifts of coaching, both for the coach and the client. Today, I want to talk to you about three powerful gifts of coaching for each!

Gifts of Coaching – For the Coach

Coaching is such a fulfilling profession, not only from seeing clients transform but from the personal growth we experience as coaches. Coaching isn’t just a job—it’s a calling that empowers us to live with purpose and freedom.

Here are my three favorite gifts of being a coach!

The Gift of Helping Others

As coaches, we have the gift of truly blessing other people and being of service to them. We help them to step out of their old ways and into new ways of being. We help them let go of old patterns and ideas, begin new thinking, and find their purpose.

They’ve had these loops for years, unable to move forward. We get to help them with that very big change that then becomes their ripple. And that’s amazing!

The Gift of Making Dreams Come True

The second gift is that we get to be a small part of someone else’s really big deal. There’s something incredible about being even a small part of someone’s journey to success.

Whether it’s a personal goal, career milestone, or life-changing decision, we get to witness them move closer to their dreams with each session. We help our clients make their dreams come true.

The Gift of Freedom

The third gift that I find as a coach is that we get to make our own schedule. We decide our pricing. We’re in charge of how much money we earn.

We have autonomy in the world and get to be who we want to be. We get to work with who we want to work with. That freedom is huge.

Gifts of Coaching – For the Client

Every coach should be coached. So, as the client of another coach, I understand what it’s like to be on the other side of things. Here are some of the gifts that I know our clients experience because I have experienced them myself.

The Gift of Being Heard without Judgment

Through coaching, clients have a place to really be seen, valued, and heard without judgment.

There are plenty of places where they get to have conversations with other people. But for someone to meet them where they’re at and really listen, whose only job is to help them move forward toward their goals without judgment, is a true gift.

The Gift of Reaching the Next Level

The second gift for clients is that coaches really help them get to that next level of success. Not by fixing them, but by asking powerful and provoking questions.

The answers are already within your clients, so your job as their coach is to help them uncover those answers.

The Gift of Finding Purpose

When being coached, clients get to live a life full of purpose.

They get to see where they have old narratives, old dialogue, and old thoughts that are getting in their way. They find places where they’ve outgrown their coping mechanisms and want to step into a more meaningful way of being.

Wrapping it Up

So, if you’ve been questioning your purpose as a coach, you now have a list of ways coaching makes an impact on your life and your clients’.
