Because Someday isn’t Waiting or You

Someday isn't waiting...

What do you want? It seems like an easy question. But do you really know how to answer it? I’m not talking about material things or peace on earth. I’m talking about the wants underneath your wants. I’m talking about the reason you’re here, the thing that gives your purpose. The thing you’ve almost forgotten about.

Yes, that.

How long has it been since you’ve thought about it? I mean really thought about it. Like you did when you first realized you had the passion for it. Remember how you used to fantasize about making it real? Remember how you were sure you would be doing it someday?

What happened? Are you doing it? Or are you still waiting for someday? Some. Day. Here’s a fact; someday isn’t waiting for you. If you’ve lost touch with your dream or you don’t know what it is, it’s time to find it. Don’t put it off. You owe it to the world to walk in your unique brilliance. It sounds corny. I know. But it’s true.

You were made for a specific purpose, and it’s imperative that you claim it. You won’t be truly satisfied until you do. You owe it to yourself to take that chance. You’re scared. Who will pay the bills? What if it doesn’t work? What if you fail?

What if you don’t?

Following a dream is hard for everyone. It takes courage. The people who are doing it were just as scared as you. They took a risk. Multi-millionaire, Robert Herjavec of Shark Tank, was overwhelmed when he started his company. He didn’t have all of the answers, but he found the helpers and kept at it. Each day, he stepped into his dream a little bit more. He was not an overnight success. No one is.

Look, I’m not suggesting that you quit your job and put your livelihood at risk. What I’m asking is that you get in touch with who you are underneath all of your responsibilities and “shoulds” and start honoring that piece of yourself, little by slowly so that you can live the life you are meant for. It’s going to feel uncomfortable. It’s going to take grit. People will question you. You will question you. Do it anyway.

I’m going to ask you again. What do you want? If you don’t know, I can help.

Someday isn’t waiting.

Don’t miss your chance
